Player placement
- Players set up for a regular singles match.
Drill
- Player A announces where the serve will land.
- Player A serves and volleys to player B.
- Player B returns the serve to player A, player A returns the return with a volley back to player B.
- Player B has to then return the volley with a lob over player A.
- Player A returns the lob with an overhead.
- Players need to play at least five shots before they can start trying to win points.
Variety
- To vary the pattern players should try to serve to different areas and return to both sides of the court.
