Four Hit Serve and Volley
Player placement
- Players set up behind the baseline on opposing sides.
Drill
- Player A serves into the deuce court.
- Player B returns the serve in a way so that player A can rush the net and volley into the ad court.
- Player A moves over to get the shot and returns it with a passing shot.
- The players repeat the sequence, players should rotate after a few minutes.
Variety
- After the players have rotated several times, they play out the points.
- After either player hits the fourth ball in the sequence the point begins.
- If any of the players miss one of the shots within the sequence of 4, they must start over until they hit all 4 balls.
